Working to beat cancer sooner
Registrations 2023 Open
The Relay For Life web site for 2023 is online and open for teams and team member to register.
For new teams the team captain will need to create the team before team members can join it.
All teams from last year who want to continue this year will need to re-register their teams.
This will be our 16th year and we are aiming to beat our total of £26,677.70 from last year.
If you are organising a fundraising event, please let us know so we can put it on the website.
We look forward to seeing you all signed up for another fantastic year and hope we get more friends and families join us.
We have lots planned this festive season. We look forward to seeing you at this Christmas Fayre where we will be selling Christmas cards and other goodies to raise money for Cancer Research UK.
First Duck Race
On a beautiful Sunday afternoon we had the first Liskeard Relay For Life Duck Race at Rilla Mill.
None of the ducks complained about the water temperature and three even tried to escape by hiding, but all were recovered safely.
With the race money, refreshments and a tombola we raised £331.50. Well done everyone.
Thanks to Plymouth Relay for Life for the loan of the ducks.
Send us your Relay stories with your pictures for all to see.
Relay For Life
Relay For Life is a family festival celebrating the power of community fundraising in the fight to beat cancer.
Teams fundraise for life-saving cancer research then unite at a weekend-long festival to celebrate and remember everyone who has been affected by cancer. The festival is focused around a 24-hour relay where team members take it in turns to walk around a track to show that together we will beat cancer.
Relayers keep walking all through the night because Cancer never sleeps so neither will we.
